School Uniform
Important Changes
The School Council have decided it is time to up-date the school uniform and would like to introduce a change of colour for the Secondary Department.
From September 1st. 2010
Pupils in Kestrels, Falcons and Hawks will wear grey or black trousers or skirts, white polo shirts and black sweatshirts or jumpers.
Pupils in Wrens, Robins and Swallows remain in white or sky blue polo shirts and royal blue sweatshirts or jumpers.
Eagles may wear their own clothes, within reason.
For the first year there will be allowances for pupils in the Secondary Department to continue wearing the royal blue sweatshirts if they wish to allow for the purchase of new items.
The school will be selling both sweatshirts with the school logo. Plain sweatshirts and jumpers can also be bought in many high street shops and supermarkets.
Some pupils have been coming into school in unsuitable clothing which has caused resentment amongst other pupils.
From September 2010 uniform will be compulsory
Kestrels Young Enterprise
Our enterprise scheme has gone from strength to strength. This term students have had great fun designing and making valentine gifts. Don’t forget to order yours.
We have booked our summer residential trip. This year we will be going to Searl’s Holiday Camp in Hunstanton. The dates are Monday 28th. to Wednesday 30th. June. Fingers crossed for sunny weather.
Kestrels have formed links with a school in Ghana. We have already exchanged letters and look forward to more interesting news from our African friends.
